But I had to purchase stickers for the keys to add the Hebrew characters. However I will probably also be ordering a Linux OS laptop from here at some point in the future.ĭo you supply keyboards with a US/International layout? Or, better still, a US layout with additional Hebrew characters? At the moment I am using one of those white and silver Apple Mac keyboards because I love the silence and the feel of the board. I have to admit, if it was not for Daz Studio, I would probably just go Linux, but at the moment it seems I am stuck with Windows 10. So I also assume when my computer arrives, the OS will not require me to do so? Since there is no 'none' option for Microsoft Office, I assume I can just uninstall that along with all the other bloatware that Microsoft pushes on us? I am also not going to link my computer to a Microsoft Account. I am also not interested in Microsoft Office.

I have UK-Israel dual nationality and generally prefer US English. Though I know I can install Hebrew once I have my computer.

I selected Windows 10 pro and English US/International as my language choice, but I would also like Hebrew as a second language. I also have some personal specifications regarding Operating System language and 'computer location' that I would like to ask about as well. I 'created' a custom PC which I have now saved, but being new to all this, I am not sure whether I am doing this correctly. Ideally I would like an Nvidia RTX 3090 GPU and at least 64GB of RAM. Many are hard to find or over priced - priced beyond the MSRP.I am in the process of sorting out a second computer that I can use specifically for high end rendering tasks using Daz Studio Iray and Blender. I get the sense that the Geforce RTX 3000 series are the ones to beat in terms of price/performance. You can use your CPU to supplement a GPU render, but if the scene doesn't fit onto your GPU, or if the GPU is no longer supported, it's not going to do anything. When it comes to Iray, your GPU is all-or-nothing. Perhaps does not help that much? Seems like the CPU doe most of the rendering. Those are not supported by Iray anymore, the last build supporting Kepler card was in DS4.12. Is it called CUDA? I do not have that choice? Nvidia GTX 760.Īre you using Windows 10? I'm not sure that option existed in earlier versions. How are you checking the GPU usage? Task Manager's default report does not show CUDA activity - go to the Perfomance tab, select the GPU in the list of items on the left, and set one of the graphs to show CUDA - is it still at 0%?
